Corvette Plant Tours To End
The National Corvette Museum announced Wednesday that it will be suspending tours at GM's Bowling Green Assembly Plant starting February 5th, 2024.
In a statement released by the NCM today, it was explained that "Due to manufacturing advancements, tours offered by the National Corvette Museum of GM's Bowling Green Assembly Plant will be suspended beginning Monday, February 5, 2024. At this time, there is no confirmed date for plant tour resumption."
Tours of the Corvette Assembly Plant have become a popular "add-on" for visitors to the Museum. The Plant Tours have also been offered as part of the Museum's R8C Delivery Program, a program that allows new Corvette owners to receive delivery of their car at the National Corvette Museum and to take a private tour the plant as part of the experience.
The statement released by the museum also stated that there has been no date offered as to when the plant will resume tours.
For anyone planning a trip to Bowling Green in 2024 to visit the Museum, the NCM will remain open to the public and continue operating as usual. For anyone hoping to tour the Corvette Assembly Plant before tours are cancelled, you can still reserve a spot on one of the tours through Friday, February 2, 2024. You can schedule your tour reservation by visiting the NCM online at corvettemuseum.org.
