Corvette fans who donate to the foundation will be entered to win the new sports car in a drawing that will take place on October 28th, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. CDT.

For those readers who may be unaware, the International Motorsports Hall of Fame was established in 1970 to preserve the history of motorsports and remember all those responsible for motorsport's growth and prosperity. Located just a few miles from Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama, the International Motorsports Hall of Fame is billed as the most comprehensive collection of motorsports information on Earth, and includes three exhibit halls, a pavilion area, and the McCaig-Wellborn Motorsports Research Library, a 3,000-square-foot space containing more than 14,000 volumes of books, magazines, and research materials.

A Corvette ZR1 is expected to arrive in the next few years with a twin-turbocharged V8 and upwards of 850 horsepower. The fourth variant will be the Corvette Zora will build on the ZR1's twin-turbo drivetrain with hybrid power. GM Authority notes the Zora as the last C8 variant, so it will be interesting to see what Chevy does with the platform.

Now, the International Motorsports Hall of Fame is hosting this 2023 Corvette Stingray sweepstakes as a fundraising effort to support the museum. One lucky winner will take home this 70th Anniversary Edition Convertible model, which features a unique Ceramic White leather interior with Red stitching and Red seat belts, unique exterior badging, 20-spoke Carbon Flash wheels, Edge Red brake calipers, and a custom luggage set with a 70th Anniversary logo.

Naturally, this 2023 Corvette Stingray is also equipped with the atmospheric 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, which is rated at 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Alternatively, the sweepstakes is offering a $75,000 cash prize option.
