NMCA Is Officially Done With Covid!

We've all endured a two year stretch where group gatherings and social events just weren't feasible, or even allowed. We, as a whole, hit the brakes hard in March 2020 - but most of us knew that while a huge speed bump had stepped in front of us, we'd make it - just needed a little patience. Well, the payoff for being vigilant has arrived. A well-attended car show in mid-March, and a caravan to Santa Fe on March 27th gave everyone a reason to smile.

On Sunday the 27th we gathered at our eastern launch location (Tramway & Central) - then set off for a very pleasant cruise along RT66, then Hwy 14 north to Santa Fe. A few miles north of Madrid we encountered a red '63 split window headed south on 14 - I'm pretty sure that if they could of, they would have spun around and joined us northward. We were thinking - how cool is that - and I'm certain those folk in the '63 were thinking the same about us!

Our destination was Tomasita's in Santa Fe at the northern terminal of the Rail Runner. As always, they set aside special parking for us, and designated the entire patio area for NMCA. A special shout-out to Carlos and David who reside in Santa Fe - who drove down to Albuquerque as so to be part of the caravan north.
