Picnic In The Pines

On Sunday October 3rd NMCA held its' second annual club picnic on a beautiful, sunny, calm afternoon. The picnic location was tucked away at the base of the Sandias, with Pinion Pines all around. The headcount was 55, with Corvettes from C-2 to C-8 gracing the parking lot. Thank you to Amanda for the nice panoramic photo.

We enjoyed swapping stories, reviewing club photos and of course - excellent food hot off the BBQ grills. A special shout-out to Celeste and Larry English who really took care of all the food and condiment requirements. Chef Larry really cooked up some mean green chile cheeseburgers!

And maybe best of all, our long-time member Donnie Marchi, who is a magician, entertained the group for 30 minutes with close-up magic tricks. Everyone was both amazed and stunned at "how did you do that?" Donnie has entertained the club countless times over the years, but he always seems to show up with something new.

For members who were unable to attend - we hope to see you at the fall picnic in 2022. Stay turned and bring your appetite!
