2009 Supernationals
The NMCA participated in the Eighteenth Supernationals Car Show held Feb 6 - 8, 2009.
We had three award winners: Bob & Maggi Kitts won second place in modified Corvette,
Marty & Robin Zimberhoff won first place in restored Corvette and Steve & Cindy Hopkins
won third place in restored Corvette. Jim Allen and Robert O'Keefe showed off their
Vettes and answered questions. Thanks to all who manned the booth answering questions
about the club and cars. Participanting were: Robert O'Keefe, Marty Zimberhoff, Steve
and Cindy Hopkins, Bob and Maggi Kitts, Jim Allen, Dan Bond, Lee Carillo, Steve Haydu,
David Judd, Art Lites and Shane LeMon.
This event is great for meeting car people and it Seemed like 20% of them had been
members or had a Corvette at one time. We handed out 21 NMCA applications over the three
day event and expect to gain several new members from the weekend.
