NMCA Joins ACC For Los Alamos Show

[2008 Atomic City Corvette Club Corvette Show, Los Alamos]

Early Saturday morning May 3rd a group of NMCA members drove to Los Alamos to attend the Atomic City "Corvettes in the Jemez" event. Upon arrival we immediately began cleaning the cars...didn't we just do this last week. A total of 82 Corvettes put on quite an impressive display for the residents of Los Alamos. The event even drew participants from Looking Glass Corvettes in Denver. The sun was shinning and was a perfect day except for some breezes. A far cry from the 2007 show when it snowed!

At the end of the day some NMCA entrants headed for home while others stayed and attended the awards banquet. Numerous door prizes were passed out along with the announcement of the show winners. A perfect way to end a day spent with beautiful cars, wonderful conversation and great food in the scenic peaceful surroundings of Los Alamos.

Editor note: Lori Jordan claimed People's Choice award with her 2001 head turning convertible. More photos of this event can be viewed in the photo album section of this web site, or by visiting http://www.atomiccitycorvettes.org
