NMCA Joins ACC For BBQ & Photos

[enroute to Los Alamos]
Sunday October 7th was bright and clear as 13 NMCA Corvettes gathered and
departed north on I-25 to join forces with the Atomic City Corvette (ACC)
club in Los Alamos, NM. Mike and Cathe Ragsdale graciously opened their
beautiful White Rock home to the 25+ NMCA members as well as a fair number
of ACC members. BBQ was king and everyone enjoyed plenty to eat while
swapping stories and making future plans.

[Gathered at Mike & Cathe Ragsdale's home]
Dan & Jan Bond spearheaded the NMCA portion of this caravan and did a great
job organizing and planning all the details. And what neighbors could possibly
be upset about a street filled with such shiney eye-catching Corvettes. Above
are a few of the gang while parked at Mike & Cathe's home.

[Overlook Park, White Rock, NM]
Overlook Park in White Rock was an ideal location to grab a quick photo (above)
plus this offered some very special views for the people who were not locals.
ACC members went out of their way to make the NMCA group feel welcomed and at home.

Our return trip brought us through the Jemez Mountains, which offerd a burst of color.
Another stop for a photo was all but mandatory. After dozens of photos were snapped,
the Albuquerque group continued south, while the ACC gang returned on hwy 4 to Los Alamos.
