NMCA Tours Unser Racing Museum

NMCA members were afforded a true treat on Saturday January 27th as they were
special guests at the Unser Racing Museum in Albuquerque. Despite having knee
surgery just a few days before, Al Unser Sr welcomed the members and devoted
his attention to answering questions, signing autographs and posing for photos.

Inside this multi-room museum sat a lifetime of racing memorabilia, showing all the
different stages of the racing careers this special family has enjoyed.
Indy cars, sprint cars, test vehicles, mountain climbers . . . list goes on and on.
Much as the name implies, this museum really captures the racing perspective from a
family who has been at the front of the pack for decades.

For members who are interested in racing and who were unable to attend this special showing,
you should consider putting the Unser Racing Museum on your to-do list. Our own local
legendary family of auto racing have made quite the mark in racing history, and this museum
captures the family passion,
from start to finish.
